Sloan-C Local Sites

The Localness program enables institutions to deliver the content produced at our conferences to members of their institution and to those within commuting distance. With travel restrictions in abundance, Localness enables participation in our conference from your own location. You will have access to 50+ sessions, both live and recorded, to participate in real time or to view at a later time.

BootCamp* (an intensive workshop on getting started in online learning) will focus on technologies that will be used during the conference to ensure that your experience is as rounded as possible. Most of these technologies will be Web 2.0-based as well as use of Elluminate. Examples include Twitter and Voicethread!

Post Conference Workshops** (one workshop per track)

These will feature the "Best in Track" presentations. Each conference has a set of presentations that seem to create a "buzz" even before the conference begins. We've already sensed some activity in the forums and have an idea of a few possibilities; these s include: Web 2.0, Science in Second Life, Social Media World & Online Learning Models. There will be up to three of these workshops that virtual premium holders can access.
