- Learn new techniques from peers. Presenters will showcase many new techniques for optimizing networking and learning opportunities.
San Francisco provides the perfect setting for a highly interactive and engaging experience. San Francisco is often called "Everybody’s Favorite City," a title earned by its scenic beauty, cultural attractions, diverse communities, and world-class cuisine.

Attend Virtually
Why attend the Virtual Symposium?
- Participate despite schedule or budget restraints. If your schedule or budget does not allow for the trip or your institution does not support travel outside of your state, the online symposium provides a full-scale online experience.
- The Virtual Symposium includes:
- Streaming-from-the Bay – Select sessions including 40 presentations, keynote, expert panel, plenary, closing session, and virtual exhibit hall from the live event in San Francisco, California will stream online June 17 – 19, 2009. Special attention will be paid to integrate the face-to-face event with the virtual event in a way that makes the virtual attendees true participants of the symposium.
- Post-Conference Workshops (premium only) – You will be able to participate in five online workshops relating to each of the conference tracks.
- Basic Training Boot Camp Course (premium only) – At a typical conference you can talk about applications, but you rarely get a chance to fully test them yourself with the guidance of experts in the field.
